Time wasted is Life wasted. Once wasted, time can never be regained. You cannot speed it or slow it down to suit you needs. Hence implementation of Time Management Strategies is necessary to grow and achieve the full potential of your Home Based Business. How best you organize your time in your daily lives will make all the difference between success and failure or even attaining your personal goals.

“Time is the scarcest resource of the manager; if it is not managed, nothing else can be managed.”- Peter F. Drucker

How best can you organize and manage your time?

Good time management gives us the opportunity to balance our work with the various demands of our personal life. Unless these are balanced well, life can be frustrating and both work and leisure are bound to suffer.

It is wise to plan your time by scheduling your work on a monthly, weekly and daily basis. In this manner you can plan your work schedule well in advance. While planning your work schedule you will have to prioritize your work. If you don’t, you can fall into the dangerous habit of doing the easy work and procrastinating over the difficult ones, which are quite often the most important ones. The consequences of procrastination can be very disastrous to your home based business. Hence the necessicity for time management. Whenever you prioritize your work, you should fit your priority work into your best productivity time.

It is a known fact that all of us have certain times of the day when we are at our best, feel happy, creative and our energy levels are at their peak. This will naturally be our most productive period and this time should be allotted for the most difficult tasks and high priority jobs. The rest of the time could be utilized for simple and routine tasks you have to do. This is good time management.

Interruptions such as telephone calls from friends and direct interruptions by family members at home can be a nuisance and this should be discouraged. All external interruptions can be discouraged by being politely assertive. Family members can be discouraged by placing a sign on your door, not to interrupt you.

Another great way to manage your time is to clean up your working area on a regular basis. In this manner all unwanted papers could be destroyed, leaving behind only what is necessary while ensuring that important documents need not go astray or misplaced. Very often much valuable time is wasted searching for documents, thereby causing much frustration and stress. This is bad time management causing much frustration, stress and counter productive.

Variety is the spice of life. A monotonous schedule of work, day after day can be boring. Always plan your daily work schedule in a manner that will add variety, thereby creating a mood and desire to continue your work with enthusiasm.

Time management for a home based business entrepreneur is much easier today if you can take advantage of the tools that are available such as the Fax machine, Computer, E-mail, Auto responder and the Telephone. Making the best use of these tools is the wisest way to manage your time and increase your productivity.

Successful implementation of the above Time Management Tips and Strategies will lay the foundation for increased productivity, reliability and success of your home based business.

Many companies agree that a website is a very strong sales vehicle resulting in increased sales. However, after investing a substantial amount of money in building an elaborate Website, the disappointment settles in when they begin to realize that their website does not produce the results they hoped for, and that it does not match their needs and expectations. What people fail to realize is the fact that having a beautiful Website does not guarantee an increase in sales, and will not improve efficiency or customer relationship management effectiveness. Yes, I will agree you must have an attractive, professional looking website, otherwise you will immediately lose credibility with your prospects. However, your website also needs to be:

1. Informative – Your website must speak to your prospect’s needs, wants, desires, and address their concerns. If your website is not informative, and if it does not sell to your prospects, then you are dramatically reducing your chances of closing the sale.

2. Traffic directive – Your website should lead clients easily through the sales funnel. If you do not have an easy navigation system, and if your sales prospects are getting lost – they will easily become frustrated. Frustrated prospects do not become happy customers.

3. Marketable – Sales are rarely completed upon the first introduction, whether it is in person, over the phone or on the Internet. You have to gain your prospect’s attention and keep their attention. If you go to smcdata.com, you will notice that I continually update my site, and add new articles and case studies to entice prospects to visit my website often. You may want to add an e-newsletter, or a special report, or offer a free e-Book, or e-Course as a lead generating strategy to capture your prospect’s contact information. Once you have their information, you can then email them or snail mail them, or make follow up phone calls that will eventually close the sale.

A Fourth Factor That Is Frequently Overlooked

Not meeting the goals mentioned in the above paragraphs, can lead to not achieving the results anticipated. But a successfully designed and marketed Website that results in a substantial sales increase can also create business disruption when the e-commerce system is not integrated in “real time” to the “back office” system.

For example, I recently received an inquiry about our ERP software solution from the president of a small fastening company who had read my previous article “how to choose the right software for your company” which was published in a popular trade magazine. When speaking with her, she told me that she recently “turned off” her website despite the fact it was extremely successful in producing a substantial amount of new sales. The reason for “turning off” the website was that the “back office” system did not produce the proper inventory status information.

Not having this data resulted in severe business disruptions. Realizing that she would lose customers and her company’s high rating on the web, the president decided to “turn off” the website until she could find suitable new “back office” software for her company. As a result of the high level of stress created by the business disruptions, many of her staff members decided to leave the company, increasing her business disruptions.

Another Example Of How A So-Called Successful Website Can Create Unnecessary Business Disruptions:

Recently, three presidents of very successful electronics e-commerce companies told me they have excellent e-business retail stores that enabled them to grow their businesses substantially. When I asked them how good their inventory control is in the warehouse, they all admitted that this was one area that required great improvement as:

1. Misplaced inventory was “collecting dust” and was not found until the next physical count took place in the warehouse. Quite often, when the misplaced inventory when found, it was obsolete. The inventory that could have been sold became excess inventory since new inventory was ordered while it was misplaced.

2. Incorrect shipments resulted in a high rate of returns, and double freight bills.

3. Credit issued for returned inventory resulted in additional workload for the accounting department results in the loss of vendor early payment discounts.

Make Your Website A Success With An Integrated Computer System

While selling on the Web can be a very powerful tool, as you can see, it can also be a “double-edged sword” resulting in severe business disruptions. With an integrated computer system, the Web, the “back office, and the warehouse information will be updated in a “real time” mode without the danger of data being corrupted or lost. An automated warehouse will insure shipment accuracy, prevent inventory from being misplaced, and the company Website will always reflect an accurate count of the inventory available in the warehouse. This will your company’s customer relationship management effectiveness and encourage customers to become recurring clients.

If your website is attractive, informative, marketable, and if it has traffic direction and a integrated computer system in place, it will then enable your company to go to the “next level.” You will then only be limited by your imagination and your budget. The question is, “What is your destination?”

Brain Enhancement and Anti-Aging Techniques

Monday, June 28, 2010 posted by admin

How to build your superior_mind with a side-order of anti-aging. I offer this advice based on my current internet findings – so it would be a good idea for us to continue to cross-reference any information we have with as much peer-reviewed material as possible.

Video Summary:
Excercise more – minimum 4 minutes of intense cardio – like circuit training for example and maybe 15 – 60 minutes of general cardio every other day (like swimming, biking, running or jump-rope). Proper nutrition – with lots of antioxidants and a good nights sleep. Blueberries, rasberries, strawberries – great for neurogenesis and age prevention. I also recommend including spinach and walnuts in your diet.
So intense cardio will improve oxygen supply to the brain and improve concentration for extended periods of time.
Other muscle resistance excercise will also help stimulate neurogenesis and have an anti-aging effect.
No smoking or drinking – at least try to minimize as much as possible. Alcohol is more destructive than most ppl realize and can effect future offspring.
I advise using pycnogenol which has a very strong anti-aging (or even reverse-aging with proper exercise and diet) effect.
Nutrition – no fried foods, no alcohol, no sweets – reduce glucose dependancy(ie: avoid fries, eat less bread, no cake, etc) and add blue or red colored fruit like blueberries, strawberries, rasberries, etc – to your diet. Also make sure to add foods which contain Omega 3-6-9(like flax, walnuts or tofu). Suppliments are also available(including vegan type supps).
[Side note - ppl who take SSRI antidepressants have been found to have improved memory, organization and reduced stress -- although they are unfortunately not safe to quit taking cold-turkey.]
To keep new neurons and build your superior mind, I stress the importance of engaging in a variety of stimulating(interesting/enjoyable/addictive) activities which require learning, creativity, and logical strategy.
Learning to play an instrument is one of the most recommended ways of doing this. I also suggest composing music you like or any sort of improvisation(like rap or something). Strategy games improve your ability to tackle complex problems quickly which is beneficial to handling real life-problem solving in stressful situations. Programming games, websites, modding(computers, cars, bikes, etc), art, writing, dancing, singing, etc.. Anything that you enjoy which stimulates dentrical connectivity.
Sleep is extremely important! Something I never realized until more recently. This reduces stress, improves focus/concentration, also helps neurogenesis, and heals your body building new muscle tissue(from excercise) – housekeeping basically. Drink a lot of water before you go to sleep, make sure it’s dark and quiet(and not too hot), and try taking melatonin an hour or 2 before you go to bed every few days to keep your sleep schedule in check. (Not too much too often cuz you’ll get used to it and work as well for a while).
Ginko Biloba will also improve blood flow in the brain and help reduce aging.
Eat less and reduce glucose dependancy
Drink green and or black tea.
I must stress the importance of excercising your mind with enjoyable/stimulating hobbies which require extensive use of the elements of your mind that you wish to strengthen the most.
When sleeping you may notice more dreaming(and more realistic) than usual – which is a normal side-effect.
Increased use of the brain and reduced glucose dependancy might make you feel sleepy and taxed at first which is also normal — you’ll adapt.
I find the best way to fire-up your true potential when it’s needed – is to have some toast and peanut-butter(high protein) and a couple cups of coffee.

How do you bulletproof your business in stormy economic times when even banks are having trouble? In fact, getting loans or credit from banks could become obsolete as entrepreneurs learn that the new currency in business is relationships.

Joint Ventures Relationships

The biggest trick to achieving great sales numbers is to build relationships with your customers and colleagues. People are technologically savvy these days, and they are easily able to find information on virtually any topic with the help of a good search engine.

In order to get and keep your clients and customers, you need to build a relationship with them before your competitors do. People can always find another company with the help of the internet, but if you build a good relationship with your customers, you’ll find great sales numbers.

One of the best ways to do that is to align yourself with the right people. This is known as Joint Venture Marketing, and no one is better at Joint Venture Marketing than http://privatejvclub.info

How Joint Ventures Work

Those who haven’t done any research on Joint Venture Marketing do not understand how it can work to help you get amazing sales numbers. To begin with, Joint Venture Relationships allow you to get thousands of leads without paying any money. If you have little or no marketing budget, this is the way to generate sales and new customers.

Instead of having to pay hundreds for leads that will help you to find customers, you are instantly given access to leads that you can borrow from your competition with their full agreement. You have access to super-affiliates who try to promote your product for you, and you can get credibility and powerful testimonials which will help you immensely, especially if a potential customer does some research about your company online.

If you are in the business world and you are trying to make the most of your resources, you have to realize that there are tens of thousands of people just like you. The trick to actually meeting your goals is to have the right connections and to learn which marketing strategies will work best for your company. If you are in need of a rescue plan for your company and credit is tight, you can create relationships with people who are willing to market your product to their list right now because it can be the perfect product for their customers.
